Discussions continue as to whether the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union will be progressive or not. However it may all end up, there will be no benefit in waiting unnecessarily before bringing your products into compliance.

WHAT WILL BE THE REGULATORY IMPACTS ON YOUR COSMETIC PRODUCTS ?

-> CPNP notification: a specific portal will be set up for the United Kingdom. Depending on your situation, you should declare your products and/or (inversely) transfer notifications made in the United Kingdom to the future responsible person inside the European Union (domiciled within a European Union member state).

-> The details of the responsible person: they must be located within the European Union and/or the United Kingdom depending on the country in which you sell your products. This person must possess the Product Information Folder in the national language of the controlling authorities.

-> Safety assessment: The qualification of the person in charge of completing this may be reconsidered by the United Kingdom.

-> Cosmetovigilance: Specific monitoring and declaration to be put in place
